Title: British Columbia Forest Safety Council
Post by: slack ma girdle on September 07, 2013, 03:30:51 PM
Are there any members on this forum of the above ?
Here in the Uk the HSE (Health and Safety Executive, and part of the government) has told the forestry industry to reduce the number of accidents/ fatalities. As a result FISA has been formed (Forstry Industry Safety Accord)
Anyway, i would like to hear the views of anyone who works in B.C., has it reduced the number of accidents within the forestry industry ? Is everyone involved happy with the way it is run/ managed ?
FISA have made a big thing about how BCFSC have turned things around, and i would like to hear from the people on the ground without any official spin.

Cheers very muchly
