One Canadian had a little trouble. I think the truck is overloaded, all hardwood.

Looks like a highway trailer with drop in stakes probably thin wall tubing you could pull in and out by hand.

Peter,

That's not overloaded.  He has a lot of RH turns to make on the way home and he's been working on his "set-up" after watching Day's Of Thunder  ;D

I don't see any stakes on the rear tier of logs.
If you're not broke down once in a while, you're not working hard enough

That's what I see too
The state police go hard on the Canadian truckers .
20 years ago a Canadian log trucks load broke loose and killed two troopers in Twin mountain area.
The logs crushed the crusier.

He's a good driver works hard to make a living. I've had him on my jobs and is great to deal with. Feel bad he has to deal with that. Glad the straps held

Belt and Braces...

If one lets you down, hopefully the other one holds up your pants (or  logs)

So that one rates as in "Incident", not an Accident.

The local cops would want to know who certified the stakes that broke off etc, but that's better than investigating a  fatal accident.
