Hello All - I Hope this is the correct fourm for this. I recently picked up a Stihl HS 60 AV Hedge trimmer and have a few questions as to what to set the idle speed at and also what are the H & L needle settings. Also what would be the top end speed. I would assume the fuel mixture would be 50 - 1 and is there a special lube to use in the gear box. I did check the Stihl web site for an operators manual , to which there was none listed. I would like to procure an IPL and operators manual for this trimmer. Thanks !!!!

Stihl offers two lubes, one is fs  and the other is not. The fs oil does not liquefy so you want to use standard not fs. Idle speed is not really a problem, just idle it as slow as possible without it dieing. If idle it way up it can over heat the clutch. Top end is probably near 9500 but i do not have a book here so thats a guess.
