I have wanted one of these for a long time and was finally able to get it.
I had to change some hoses around so it would work better for me.

Trying to figure out what some of these buttons do.

Sweet! No more rolling logs. ;)
Sweet! I'd rather have one of these than my backhoe. This toy will work for ya. smiley_thumbsup
You'll love it, how many puonds is it rated for. Looks good sized to me. Steve
Nice new toy tool, Jake!
That is nice for sure. Will work great for unloading those beams off mill. Grapple is priceless. Tim
Isn't that model the largest skidsteer New Holland makes? The grapple appears very well designed for log handling.
I've noticed that the hardest working folks also tend to be the "luckiest" folks.
You have to appreciate the Independence, first thing he does, starts moving the hydro lines smiley_thumbsup
Nice addition Custom' good on you
DGDrls
Very nice, I much prefer the joystick control over the Bobcat style. What made you pick the wheel model over the tracks? Will you be using it on stone and blacktop/concrete more often than turf? The track models are almost impossible to get stuck, the wheel ones not so much. Maybe you don't have the mud problems I do. Very nice machine. Congratulations.
i see someone else figured out the skidsteer is the way to go! its not my color ;Dbut i can still teach you how to run one. the best thing is after spending the first winter snowplowing everything well become automatic, you do get snow right? if you answered no to that question you must ship your machine to the test facility in wisconsin.care of redoaks! ;D
nice looking buggy jake! i thought you was yankin my chain when told me you bought one.
psst danny! i found your new lumber stackin machine. :D :D
good luck with the new machine!
WOW !!! Want one
My best car is more dinged up than your loader. How about some photos of it moving some logs & with some mud on it? Other attachments?
From the looks of you in that seat you don't need to get any bigger or you will need to hire an operator , I'm just down the road.
Jake get one of those grinder attachments and bring it up to Tenn next time you stop by! We can see how it works cleaning up some of my woods.:D
That is a fine machine! The guys that cut all my trees had one that was a bobcat brand with the big tires, it picked up stuff it shouldnt have been able. The magic of hydraulics
Where my neighbor works has the same machine fortunetly his boss lets him bring it home for the weekend when I saw logs for him. Awsome machine I hope to get one some day. It amazes me every time I run it what it will do.
And after a year we are all still trying to figure out what all the buttons do.
Nice looking tool, once you get use to that you will wonder how you got along without it.
Sweet! You're going to love the electric over hydraulic controls, takes some time getting used to but I'll never go back after having them.
That looks like a real cat's meow. Congrats. :)
Nice 8) 8) 8) I like the fork grapple combo :) :)
Looks like a real beauty!
Congrats.
Hey there C.S., thats a dandy ;D Makes me want to step up my search for my own machine  But first, I'm still tryin to come up with land for the mill :'(
Nice machine!!! What other models did you compare? Or we're you dead set on this model NH?
Congrats on the new tool.
Please wear your seat belt, my brother knows a guy that woke up face down in between the front of the machine and the bucket!
Congratulations on getting a great machine, Jake. With an operation as big as yours, I'm sure it will be put to very good use.
A friend has been storing his NH skid steer in my barn for a couple of months. He tossed me the keys and said "run it like you stole it".
I am a little embarrassed at how many hours I have put on the machine in those 2 months. :D
Jake, nice score!
I'll give you a hint; if when the 1-1/2" round bar bends that supports the forks, replace it with cylinder rod from hydraulic cylinders instead of normal cold roll steel. It will support more load w/o bending.

Jake, you know how hard Bill is on borrowed equipment in his woods. It tends to burn up. :D
nice machine!
looking forward to the videos :)

Sure burn one dozer and I'm labeled forever ;D
Sweet piece of equipment Jake.
Sure is going to come in handy. :)
Nice.. Now you won't have to coerce Danny into toting boards. ;D Recon you can teach him how to drive it ?
Good for you.Jake......Gee, Danny gets sick, misses a few days, and you get a new skid steer.......... Had a little experience with New Holland some years ago
and it was very positive...They make good stuff......Keep the faith...Paul R.
Sweet ride Jake, you'll love it mate. I got a smaller bobcat version and it is the ducks nuts I reckon ;D
Awesome addition to the family. Wish I had something like that. Just not enough need for one yet.
Very nice tool. It appears to be a BIG one. 8)
You'll wonder how you ever made it without one. That NH looks just like my Case.
Nice piece of machinery you have there! :)
Thanks for all of the replies. There was so many questions that I not sure I will answer them all but here goes.
1st. Bill is not allowed to drive or borrow this one.
2nd. Danny is if I am not looking. :D
3rd. I checked on a couple of different brands but lift, weight, and tires + price were the deciding the factors.
4th. In the second pic, if you were ever wondering what a monkey with a math problem looks like, there you go. ;D
You'll like that skid steer. If something happend to mine I'd have another tomorrow.
Way to go, Customsawyer I will have to stop by and check it out.

Are you the monkey, or the problem? :D
That is a really sweet looking machine! I am sure that we will get to see just how big a log it will pick up (or won't pick up ;D).
Very nice. bg

Skid steers are just plain handy. Kind of like a leatherman tool on wheels. Jake, you either have to scuff that machine up and get it dirty, or shine and polish yourself, cause the 2 of you don't match at this point ;D

I agree, and he may as well use a Pro :D.
Just because he burnt up a bull dozer does not qualify Raider Bill as a pro. ;D ;D ;D

You'll wonder how you ever made it without one. That NH looks just like my Case.
Case and NH are part of the same company. I'm sure the machines share much of their engineering. My son in law is an engineer with Case/New Holland. He would definitely approve of Jake's new purchase. He was not so happy with me when I bought a John Deere tractor last year. ;D
CNH is one company now, but at one point the New Holland and John Deere skid loaders were the same, except for the engine. That may have changed with the Case/New Holland merger.
