Large Built-In Bookcase

This past weekend marked the end of my most recent project. This massive 14' long x 7'-6" tall bookcase was my biggest scale project to date and it was a blast to make. The base is 18" deep cabinets for storage with 12" deep book shelves on top. The customer is a reading teacher at a local school and is hoping to fill these all up with books  Finished with custom tint EM6500. I am beyond happy to have these out of my shop and to not have to move the darn things again. 7 sheets of 3/4" ply, 4 sheets of 1/4" ply, and about 100 bf of sugar maple get real heavy moving around the shop.

These look great.  I love the EM6500 or at least I appreciate it when I have to paint projects like this.  I hate painting.  My last one took 9 sheets of 3/4" MDO and 7 sheets of 1/4" ply.  There is no feeling like getting the things out of the shop.
