Looks to be no more snow than here so far. The deer have it pretty decent this winter so far. But lots of winter left yet. ;D

I have a track in the snow I can't figure out. It doesn't walk like a deer or young moose, and has a decent stride. When running it's several feet between prints, and hind feet land where front feet were and paired. It don't even remind me of coyote, but it has to be. They are a few days old and not real fresh. It's definitely not short legged.

There was maybe 3lbs of corn when I left the cabin about january 4 or 5 caught up in that feeder you might see in the field. It must of shook the rest of the corn down in the snow storm, as there deer were congregated around it just after the storm, but not since. I have 4 plot fields now and only cameras in this 2 year old field. The other fields were underplanted with clover, but had a mix of oats and brasicas. No idea how or if or how those fields are being utilized.

All of this was just brush with no forage value just 3 years ago.
