Hi, I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on sharpeners. I'm looking at the Dexter file and the Andrus hand filer. Which one do you like better and why? I won't be sharpening carbide or chrome. Thanks

good day all,
so new to this group, new to sawmills,
just got a woodland lm130 with 1 extension , book says it cuts 16'5 inches.
i am asking if anyone has the same saw and how long of a beam i would need for this.
my plan is to have it on a 6x6 treated beam. looking through manual I can not find how long of beam i would need. the pictures show the feet set back a few inchs from end of rail. i would think i need something 4 or 5 foot longer than the 16'5 ?Read More
