Old Greenhorn

Well because of the virus and continued opening/closing cycle of the county offices, I did not get my business registered until. this week. In fact, the final paperwork showed up in yesterday's mail. So Now I can officially say the the business name is:

Woodsman Forest Products
Making Good Things out of Poor Trees

I also picked up the domain name this week.

I wanted to keep it wide open because I do some milling, some hardwood, some furniture and other wood builds, and some consulting work; all equally poorly.  :D
There are too many logging, milling, woodwork outfits around here and I compete with none of them so I just wanted it bland. Also, the city folks like those types of names and think they found something special.
In the process of choosing a name, there were a lot of 'interesting ideas' that were offered and there is a thread around here if I can find it with part of that conversation.

[Edit to add]: I found that thread: https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php?topic=109122.msg1704874#msg1704874 Re-reading it I realize that was just a week or so before the virus hit the fan. Seems like so long ago now.

I went with A2W Woodworks LLC
I wanted to be early in telephone listings if I ever got big and had a company phone number.
A to Z means everything, soup to nuts.
I can't do everything so I went to W.  Looking back on it that may have been too far.
Under my company name my cards say: "Will discuss special requests/challenges".
Dealing with the public can be a challenge on occasion.
