I couldn't resist no longer. Got tired of moving logs with the tractor, --get off set tongs, try to raise 3pt while holding tong with foot,ya'll know the routine, drag log to mill, get off tractor unhook tongs, move tractor, roll log on skidway repeat. And then the lumber, take it off mill, stack, pile on trailer, take out to yard ,stack, and sticker. Shoot,I was wore out from all theclimbing an pullin, and liftin, andreachinan stuff
Soooooo today after going to auction,we stopped by where that old Clark forklift that I found was to take another look, just to make sure that it really was hopeless. Bad move, now I am the proud(yeah right )owner of a forklift of indeterminate age,and questionable operational ability.
Whooo Hooo ,no more fetch 'n carry, draggin logs in the dirt, can stack 'n sticker right off the mill. Ain't technology grand?
Oh yeah, not sure what kind Dang's Hootiemobile is but mine looks just like it,only not so good ;D

dail,  I to went through the drag and carry process when I first got my mill. I have a old wc allis chalmers tractor , row crop front end ,with fork lift on back . rear end and gears reversed so you drive facing backwards. Handy as a pocket on a shirt. everything stickered right off mill. It to is not much to look at but I wouldn't be without it. Enjoy your purchase.Tom
