My Grandmother use to bake it this way when I was very small.  I looked up a recipe on the Kellogg's site today.  It's in the oven, sorry no picks.  Cup of water, cup of plain flour, some salt and some pepper.  Crunch the flakes. dipping chicken that I let lay in hot sauce and butter milk for six hours, rinsed into the batter then into the crunched flakes.  We'll see.

My sister used to make it very good too!   I've made some myself too not as good as her's was but yummy just the same....

I mostly use "Shore Lunch" or "Andy's" mixes now but will often (when we have some plain corn flakes) to the mix...

My aunt used to make it that way with diced peaches mixed in. Not sure where the peach idea came from since she lived in N. Ireland her whole life, but it was good.
