I bought a chainsaw that was advertised to be a Stihl 090.  The model number sticker was missing.  How can I tell what the saw actually is?  The serial number is 1233318.  There are two numbers on the underneath side of the air filter cover.  They are 1106 084 0600 and 1111 091.  Can someone help?  Thanks.

You should just be able to google stihl 090 and look at the pics, if you do have a stihl 090 they will look the same....more or less.

Just went to the shed and checked.

1106 084 0600 is the part number on the filter cover of my old 090AV. If it weighs about a ton, that's another clue.

But like the guys say, find some pics online. They are pretty distinctive.

I think it was also used on the 070's too.
