North Idaho, and Eastern Washington here.... Weather is phenomenally beautiful.  The sun has been out far more this Fall, and now winter.  Our snow in town is all, but gone, and up at the farm, barely 5"; which this time of year should be near 2 feet.  Happy, and Prosperous New Year to All!
Life is short, tragedy is instant, it's what we do with our time in between that matters.  Always strive to do better, to be better.

25 and light snow. A couple inches overnight but should end soon. Maybe some sun around noon and going to the mid 30s

Light rain, the snow is disappearing quickly. We know we are gonna get it, just a matter of when.

Overcast here and in the 20's. No fire since this morning, just built it back up for the evening. But noticed on the mountain a freezing fog settled on it and covered trees in ice today. None yesterday when it was sunny. Not going to be too sunny this week they say, but no big storms. Awfully mild for January, I suppose the ice will be in until June. ;D

I have 26 now. Should get to almost above freezing today. Looks like some high singles temps coming for a low at night, but high noon almost 30. Might be another warm winter is on it's way.
Stay tuned.  :D
As they say, we get what we get. Can't do much about it.  ;D

I think it snowed today more than it didn't.  ::)  But it was a very fine snow and temps was almost above freezing. Nothing on the tar roads for snow, but it was wet. Got about an inch of snow all day.

19 now on Elvis Presleys 86th birthday. Gaining another minute on what's going to be a sunny day in the high 20s. Weather that we have had has made the drought better. Now the west central part of the state is in moderate drought and a wide swath from there to the southeast corner is abnormally dry

Still overcast and has been windy last two days. Not real cold, but that wind will chill the bones. fire_smiley

Not today, but the other day we had another one of these days:

Temp in NC today was 68 but with 2 mph wind chill was 67
nice to drive around with the windows open.

Had a light dusting of snow over night, still not January cold, been 20 deg above average, all week. Haven't seen a clear day, all day, in a long while.

How right you are on the temps. Sunshine too.  :(  But we did have one day of full sun.
Temps are almost above freezing for the next ten days, the ones that won't be will be in the high 20's. Still only about 4 inches of snow here, deer are liking it.
Warm like last year.
So far.  ;)

I went outside about 3 this morning to take out the trash while the coffee was brewing. Much to my surprise, it was 30 degrees. NO WONDER IM COLD! And that was with my mil-surplus jacket WITH the extra insulation liner buttoned inside. Blood thinners are not fun!

Im just glad that I dont live above the Mason-Dixon Line. I can only imagine how it would be like that for ME to live up there! And summer is rough to. I now start pouring sweat just thinking about hard work outside, but I do it anyway. Am I a moron just because I like it?

Dont answer that because I KNOW what the response is going to be like 🤐
Trying harder everyday.
