Currently in the process of restoring the friction feed circular sawmill I ran for my uncle when I was 14. So far the project is going well but I've been curious as to the make of the unit. All I can find on the parts for information is stamped onto most of the steel parts is the letters HC and then a different number corresponding to that part. Posted  some pictures in an album on my profile.  Any insight is appreciated. Located in Alberta Canada

There is a copy of C.H.Wendell's 'Circular sawmills' on e bay. This is about the only reference on this subject I know of. If it is a Canadian mill not often seen in the U.S. it will not be listed. There where many and this book does not have them all.  In your photos the flat semi circle quadrant on you set works may be the identifying feature, good luck.
