Looking to buy cabin fixtures, lighting, etc....
« on: June 11, 2021, 11:16:06 PM »
I'm building a cabin (actually my dad is building it) and I am looking for someone on here that maybe makes light fixtures and other cabin decor type stuff. There is going to be a decent amount of drywall on the interior, so I'm looking for light fixtures and stuff that incorporate a lot of wood. Need some wall sconces and some pendant lights/hanging lights. Also interested in any other types of neat woodcraft type decor!

I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of posting an ad on the Forestry Forum.

This has been out there a while but if you are looking for working, old style technology items like kerosene lanterns or wood stoves or kitchen fixtures and such you might check out Lehman's Hardware in Kidron OH. A man a few miles from here built and furnished several cabins he rented and sold some and he outfitted them from places like this.

They have an internet sales with a link to their catalogs above. They cater to the Amish and other non-electric users in the area but have lots of working, nostalgic items available. If you're ever in the area stop by and make a tour. They were much more commercialized the last time I stopped by than the first but still like a working museum with most of the stuff for sale.
