I usually don't like to gush over equipment made by a company that isn't a sponsor, but I just got my new Cook's catalog. :o
If money were no object, I would start with the new automatic setter ($3195), a computer controlled precision setter and follow it with a sharpening on the new oil cooled Plunge sharpener($4500). I would use those blades on the new AC-3672T AUTO mill ($59,975) that has an auto mode. Set it up to repeat a cut and it will keep cutting boards and returning them to you until you stop it, or it reaches the bottom of the log/cant!
Or get the package deal for just $74,325!
I'm heading out to get a few lottery tickets. ::)

Every time I think about buying lottery tickets, I read in the paper about all the money the gov gets from the casinos and scatch offs and powerball tickets. Then I think about my money going to the gov and it sours me right off.  I might buy a $2.00 scratch off once in a while for kicks and giggles, but I know most of my money would be wasted.

My dream is finding that suitcase full of money that falls from a plane.

Keep dreaming.
I am in the pink when sawing cedar.

If I won the lottery I would build me a little shack close to the Mackinaw Bridge and go salmon/trout fishing 6 months a year and then the other 6 months I would watch roy underhill and Brad hewing fireplace mantles on tv !  ;D

Good point, UB. Why buy a sawmill when I could be out having some REAL fun,
like going down to FLA and delivering chicken sandwiches to Tom. ;D

Well just look at the 6/49 here in Canada for instance.  Earlier in the winter there was 7 people who all worked together and purchased their tickets every week for ???? many years.  It paid off when they purchased the winning ticket and won a sum of 45 million and some odd dollars.  They split it evenly throughout the families that purchased the tickets.

Boy that would be nice........

Coon, was that the group in Camrose? They all got together for beer and pizza to recover from the shock :D :D :D I would go fishing with UB then travel around to meet all of you. Course at the speed I move, that could take a couple of years.
My big dream is to go salmon fishing on the coast then south for marlin.
Here lottery winnings are not taxed although the goobermint would dearly love to change that. There would be a national revolt with riots in the streets. ;D. We can either take a lump sum or an annuity for 25 years. Sigh, guess I had better git to work.

Yes sawguy that is correct it was the crew from Camrose.   Makes me laugh to see how all of their dreams are coming true and not to see one single person win the jackpot.  Not one person needs that much money....

Little hard for us working stiffs to comprehend that much money.

A $50 million jackpot was claimed in Tallahassee last week. :o  The winner was a woman in her late sixties who was still working to support herself.  She says she's gonna keep her job. ::)
