What is the best way to fasten a bent to a existing slab?

If you're going to stand the bents on the concrete slab you should plan on putting something between the post and the concrete to prevent the moisture in the concrete from wicking up into the wood. Some use a piece of roofing material or some other water proof material.
You could bore a hole and and place a bolt into the hole and then anchor a piece of angle iron to the bolt, and then anchor the bent post to the angle iron with a lag bolt or a through bolt.
You could use an expansion bolt to hook to the concrete or some type of chemical to create a bond from the bolt to the concrete.
Just a few ideas you can thing about.
