Not getting PM notifications

I no longer get any notifications of new PMs when I visit the Forum. I do get email notification, that is the only way I know. I used to get a popup, and a little blinking envelope at the top of the page next to my name. Any ideas Jeff? Thanks.

It sometimes happens, some sort of quirk somewhere. The only cure that I know of is to delete all your old messages. Inbox and out box.   It seems this only happens for the most part to people who have email notification turned on.
