I'm picking up a Timberwolf TW-2 HD this weekend. I would like to Haul it in the back of my truck as opposed to pulling it home on a trailer( it's a 6-7 hour trip one way.) The truck is a newer Toyota Tundra with 49.5" between the fenders, and 104" to the end of the gate with it down. The splitter has a hyd log lift that will need to be raised or removed.
I'm thinking ramps off my dump trailer and a come along to get it in the bed of the truck.
Option b is borrowing my brothers 12' single axle trailer.
 The weather may be bad.

 Any thoughts?

OK,the width of widest part of splitter is 47.5 inch and that is the wheels...

the log lift really should be removed, not a big deal..

I do have a loader with grapple-Hover over splitter and strap on and set in your rig...

Sounds better than my plan! See you tomorrow.

I had a tw5 with log lift fit in the back of a dodge with a 6-1/2' box, a tw2 should be no problem for you truck.

For the record,we did remove the log lift...

Also for the record, if anyone has any thoughts of dealing with York rest easy.He takes great care of his equipment, and is easy to deal with.
