I have some 4 to 16/4 fresh off the saw basswood, on sticks air drying as of Friday.  Would like to load the DH kiln in about 2 weeks with a mixed load of 4/4 to 12/4.  Need to get it in the range of 8 to 10% MC and keep the white with no stain.  Is this possible?

Larry,

I would not recomend blending the 4/4 and 12/4.

I looked up  the schedules in the "Dry Kiln Schedules for commercial wood"
By Boone, Kozlin, bois, Wengert

4/4 to 6/4 are grouped together T9-E7
8/4 is by it's self T7-E6
12/4 was not listed

T9-E7 starts and maintains a higher temp with a lower RH setting compaired to T7-E6

The schedules differ enough between 4 and 8 that 12/4 would really be in danger of honey comb.
