It's been over a year now and I haven't broken a blade yet

and I saw just about ever day.I can say that it's ture that the trailer tires make it so the blades don't break.Judt in cause anyone wasn't to know. :D :D

That's a pretty good record Rod! ;) What kind of blades are you running and how big are your tires? Did you make your homemade bandsaw?

woodbowl ,it's a Turner mill and I think there 20'' tall tires and I use all brands of blades

Well, I dunno. I'm used to the carnage that goes on when you have something fail with a circle mill.  When I hit the backstop with the wood-Mizer the other day, that little bit of noise simply got me interested. :D

I have a regular customer who provides the labor when I show up. He had one guy for a while who was scared witless when a band broke. It was almost like that scene in Forest Gump where you had to tell him to stop running and come back! :D

If you EVER get use to it I would say its time for some MAJOR adjustments on the mill  :D
