Just finally went out for chores....got almost a 2' drift around the sawmill.....and the mill is inside the closed in barn!!! Basement of the barn is full of snow blowing in every possible opening. Just missed a photo op of the plow going by pushing a 4ft high tsunami of snow in front of it. Just made me realize I'd better go shovel out the opening of my driveway before the plow wall gets any deeper/higher/harder.

Not sure how much snow we got here today as the wind is blowing everything sideways.  Probably 8-10" so far.  Very windy though.  Surprised we have not lost power (yet).

Just got home from work and we have internet now. Yesterday was not a fun day to drive home from work, but it was still daylight. I have no idea how much we got,1½ feet?? Must of been more than a foot, that much I do know. I've lived here 14 years and have never see that much in one storm. Sun is out now off and on,and the roads are much better now. Was the worst storm that I have seen since I lived here.

Still a lot of work alone in 2 days. All covered in ice from the rain storm we had. If you park the truck with the cab higher than the bed the log would slide out. Now you can't see them. :D :D :D :D

-10 here now. Supposed to get another foot of snow over the course of tomorrow. Has me in mind of the winter a few years back where we had 4 or 5 storms in 4 weeks, each dumping over a foot of snow....at one point the drifts were taller than the cows and I had trouble getting them between the hightunnel I was keeping them in and the barn, for milking. Glad I don't have those worries now.....

@FarmingSawyer, was that is March? One year we did not have much snow, than in March we got a storm every 5-7 days.

In 2007-2008 it started snowing first of Nov and never stopped until end of April. 1 storm a week, sometimes 2. 12 feet of snow.
