I will be installing some  QS RO flooring in the basement soon.  The flooring will be 5"and 7" in width and up to 8' long.  The concrete slab has some vinyl tiles on it at the moment.  I think I will need to put down some 3/4" plywood or other sheet stock.  Should I glue the sheet stock down?   The room is very dry and shows no signs of moisture issues.  Any help is appreciated.  This will be my first wood floor.
I do what the little voices in my wife's head tell me to do.

I know there is no end to "good things" that add cost. But if you are going to install the plywood why not trowel on a waterproof membrane, nail the plywood over, then your floor. Its a little more expense but adds some insurance to moisture penetration from the bottom.Good luck

I think I would get some of those 2' squares that lock together from Home Depot. They are design for basements and have plastic on bottom with 3/4 osb on top.
