I checked my corrosion preventative in my E2300 and found it takes more than 30 drops to make the acid turn pink. The owners manual says to drain some water out of unit and replace with fresh water.Evidently there is to much anti-corrosion chemical in system.Question is how could this change, for the last 2 seasons everything was fine, would it hurt to leave the corrosion level in the water as is?

take another test or you may need a new test kit my kit went bad something happened to the dye my dealer stopped by and tested it and it was fine i have a new kit now

i had the same thing happen with my pH strips.  Bought new ones and the pH was OK.  So getting fresh reagents and rechecking the test is important.  I am at 31 drops on my nitrite reading, and just letting it go for now with periodic checks.
My father once said, "This is my son who wanted to grow up and become a doctor.  So far, he's only become a doctor."
