I live in South Florida. I would like to know what type tree this is so I know where to plant it. This is a young tree.  It has thorns on the trunk and on the branches. It also has small leaves.  On each branch there is a 3-leaf cluster on each side.  Thanks for any help.

Should be flowering soon.  Will need some fertilizer/iron for the yellow leaves.

It is a trifoliate orange that probably sprouted from seed.  It looks to be a Swingle seedling.  This is used as a root stock.  It will produce fruit which smells like bad fish and has a ring on the stem end.  The three common trifoliates used as root stock in Florida are Poncirus trifoliata, carizzo and Swingle.
