I've used a Wright Blade Sharpener for 25 + years.
Looking to upgrade to a new Sharpener  .

I have the Cook's Cat Claw sharpener and have no complaints at all. It works as designed and is simple and built like a tank , as is all of Cook's equipment I've seen. No oil is involved and everything is just simple to use.

I have a Cooks. It works well and gives me sharp blades. When I got it, Woodmizer's CBN sharpeners were fairly fresh to the market.

Now, I'd probably go with the Woodmizer CBN. The Cooks is a good, solid machine. Probably the best dry grinder out there.

I have a BMS 250 and the BMT 250.  They make accurate sharp blades that cut better than new.   My only complaint is the sharpener cutting oil can be messy.  The CBN wheel profiles don't require shaping.

The Cook's sharpener and setter combo is less expensive than the Woodmizer machines.  I'm sure they are typical Cook's high quality and effective.

I went through the same decision several years ago.  It wasn't easy never having run either.  IIRC @YellowHammer has run both.
