Gearmatic 19 disassembly

Cleaning the gearmatic 19 winch on my Timberjack 404. I've removed primary brake band and both clutch bands.  I can't get the anchor pin out to remove the secondary brake band.  Its really stuck.  Any suggestions as to how to get the pin out?

That pin should have a threaded hole in the end of it so you can install a slide hammer to it and knock it out. Also you can thread a bolt into it and use a impact gun to start it turning in the bore.
