Can I suggest the title next to our handle is "Premium Subscriber" or can we come up with some other worthy title? "Forestry Forum Super User" or something "Woodchuck"... Or, not to add tons of work to Jeff and nohbody, but maybe custom titles as a thanks for supporting? May be a draw for dorks like me.

At the minimum "Premium Subscriber"

"Premium Subscription" doesn't sound right.

"King Of All Wood"

"Forestry Forum Patron"

"Forestry Forum Grocery Provider"

"We Disabled The Ads, You Can Too!"

I'll think of more...

Maybe subscribers' FF monikers could be a different color?

Admins are Red, non subscribers could remain black, subscribers' names could be green (or other color)?

Is there a place where we can see all the subscribers? Like a section in the members area

I do not know, but it would be possible to create,a board that only subscribers can see, to check in on.

Ramon. Go the the member listing, click on the top of the column that lists status (admin, forestor, senior member, etc) and that will sort them by that, then jump to around page 495 or so and in between 'members' and 'Senior members' will be listed the premiums.

Remember the site not loading? taking forever to open a page, sending you to the site can not be reached page??

It's all gone for me now! wow. so not only do the adds disappear also the site gets a lot faster.

I know Jeff wrote somewhere that the adds have nothing to do with slowing down the site, well in my case it seems to made a huge difference

How do the other subscribers feel about that? i'm curious if it's just a lucky day

We made a major discovery on why the site has been so slow, not but a week or so, it was a misconfigured secure server certificate. There were also a couple other things. We had this ready to go but no way could we even mention it with the on going server issue.  The ads stopped being slow for me when That was dug up and corrected.

The ads never bothered me so I see this as a way to help the FF move forward.  I virtually never use my phone, but I did log on with it and was successful.  DanG text is so/too small.  Had to remember/recall my password.  smiley_headscratch

Site speed and ads were two separate issues, and enjoying both as a real bonus to using and enjoying the FF.

This morning is the fastest it's been for me in a long time. I posted something and it was almost up before I moved away from the Post button.

Good work guys.

I find it faster , but as Jeff said there were other issues that got addressed around the same time.
My next move is make my photo posting easier and faster. Just simple for me would work.

Not sure what is "not fast" about first putting your photo in your gallery and then second, the easy step to link that photo from your gallery to your post.
Two steps.

It is not hard to post a photo once you get a routine and learn how to do it.  It is consistent that new folks struggle.  I did too.  It is not intuitive (simple to figure out) but doable once you work at it for a bit.

I do mine from a desktop, and have two windows open at once. One window for my gallery, and one for the post. Upload the photo in the gallery window, copy the photo url, then paste in the message window.

I take most FF pictures on my phone.  so, I keep FF logged into on safari and use that to send pics from the phone to my FF gallery.  I make posts from my computer so do the FF open with a second window open to my gallery to copy the URL from and then post it in my reply in the first window.

can I just send a CK in as I do with the Shameless thing for my website? after I log in?

I use the 2 tabs method for posting pictures as well. One with the gallery that I'll load anything to that I want to share, then I write a post and copy the middle link from the picture into when it's time. It's not perfect but the gallery does make possible some neat stuff, so it's worth it!
