Well, all the time I run into good vidjas on youtube, and I think it'd be cool to have a spot to put them, so that we can share videos we thought were good, and on a day when it's -40°F outside and we're inside feeding the woodstove, we can waste alot of time on the interweb...or whatever floats your goat.

I'll start, this guy has some very interesting videos:

I think that the powermodz guy forum member Ishobie (sp?) sounds like AvE.  He put a vidja up on his thread in the sawmill forum new guy with some land skidder sawmill... and he was talking over it I thought he was AvE

PC we USED to have bus races at our county fair, not figure 8 but on our little 3/8 mile dirt track, I helped build one for my buddy.  I was scared, and we used to race stock cars there every week.  My farm fuel guy had one and got rolled, if he doesn't thank God every morning he wakes up that he was tied down to the cab and not the chassis he should because when they come apart they REALLY come apart.  We honestly thought he got torn in two, after two fairs (I think) they quit, my buddy sold it to some guy that turned it into a camper and everyone else turned them into RV's for hauling around wedding parties and such, a much safer use for them! It was fun building it but we got it there and there happened to be a guy in the pits with the tools and know how to get rid of the governor and turn the pump up on ours, that's when it got scary.

I visited Kings Landing over 40 years ago. It was truly a fantastic experience.  I spent a good part of the day at the mill taking with the Sawyer and Miller. As a result he gave me a personal tour through the entire building.  The experience was one I still remember and was the start of a long journey that I hope to complete in the near future and become a sawyer myself.

Here's a video of building a bridge.  I cut the black locust timbers you see them unloading at the 43min mark from the yellow penske truck.

At 53 minutes in you can see the blue spraypaint on the end of a white oak timber thats how I mark my logs.  I had run out of black locust log and I had one 16' beautiful white oak log that ended up making just enough to finish the order.
