Saw has 150 psi compression and had .022" squish in the top end at the top of stroke.
Upper ring end gap - .008"
Lower ring end gap- .009"

Last post by widetrackman - Today at 02:48:37 AMWell dealer delivered Mill this afternoon. We set it up, loaded a log and cut 28 1 5/8 x 3 5/8 two by's. Mill cut dead on and everything works as it should. I liked my lt35 HD I had lot but this lT50 is super nice and fast. Must now master the Accuset 2. I am now a happy camper.

We have a house that was sided with Cypres when it was built in 1991, when we were looking it over before buying it I realized that ain't SYP clapboard. It needs paint, but the wood is absolutely perfect and looks like it was sawn today.

Last post by DrakeTruber - Yesterday at 09:51:14 PMAwesome response Don. I never thought about how the crosscut chops prevent the grain diving to deep during the hewing. That must be why the chops are always done slightly deeper than the intended plane?
I have a broadaxe and broad hatchet, both unused. Still need to get them both sharpened and the hatchet bit hung. This is all pretty new and exciting but the hang ups in the learning process are brutal. Ive been learning everything from books, this forum and some Youtube. Been a huge fan of this forum for a while so I'm very grateful to partake of the wisdom shared here. Thanks
