One of my dendro teachers in college was Carl Settergren, and Carl loved to throw curves to us, for example, one winter outing Carl pointed out a few scattered somethings less than 3 foot tall, no foliage,  and said "for 10 points".  This is along those lines.





Oh, scattered somethings were poison ivy.
