black oil in radiator

i noticed a little black oil in the radiator today ???  :-\ its not running hot, (heavy drag temp gets to 180 at most) I think its the oil cooler. any thoughts? i can get a cooler for under $50 :) there is a complete c6 at the scrap yard 8)

that'd be my guess. im assuming this is a cummins. this isnt all that uncommon.

I would say oil cooler. I had a Cat 3406 do the same thing a year ago.

Its most likely the gasket on the oil cooler, i sure hope thats all it is.
Third generation logger, owner operator, 30 yrs felling experience with pole skidder. I got my neck broke back in 89, left me a quad. The wife kept the job going up to 96.

Anything the other way around?   Like water in the oil pan?

nope just changed the oil recently, and its clean, none getting in the pan.
