Stihl ms310

I am pretty new to chainsaws and just got a rancher 460, I am looking to sell my 2002 Stihl MS310, any ideas what a fair price would be. I have two 18 inch bars with 6 chains for them and one 20 inch bar with 4 chains. My dad bought it brand new and gave it to me in 2006, it's been very well kept and there is no damage to the saw itself. Just wear from cutting 6 cords of wood a year for 14 years. Any estimates on a fair price?

Ballpark around here would be $350 for all above in good shape. Check your local CraigsList - you may see some asking prices.

Here in New England that age of MS310 is about $300 avg.

Thank you guys for your help and imput. I did get a few hits off Craigslist for $350, then an older guy came and offered me $300, so I guess you guys are both right.

Great sale. the newer MS311 is popping up for $325 around here.

I just posted an MS310 on the Atlanta CL yesterday for $300 with a new bar/chain. They seem to not sell as well as the MS290 for whatever reason. (same saw, more power.)

Marketing. The MS290 and the 029's have been around forever and people always think of them and then the 039/MS390.
You have a very good saw that people have not learned much about.
