Vaagens just closed there Canadian mill and dropping night shift and down to two days a week at the hew wood mill in Usk. They are saying that they can't sell stud wood.

They own two Hew wood mills in northeast WA state. They also had the lumber mill in Canada just north of us.

That's not what I read.

 I read they couldn't get enough lumber because they were not contracted and didn't have rights to crown lands. 
So they were not getting enough from private land owners and lumber sales so they were having to buy logs paying full market price.
