 what is good and what is bad about them thanks

If its like a 450g or 555 the whole back comes off to expose all the jiblets without pulling cab, seat, floor, linkages etc etc etc etc etc etc to get at the ONE issue buried below.

Depends on how much dirt you want to push. I have seen a contractor go through used bulldozers (buy and sell) and then buy a JD 450 dozer, a year or more with the 450, it was a bit small so they added a JD 650 dozer which helped them grow (along with the Caterpillar equipment) to add an JD 850 dozer.

The 450 is still used to push dirt/ loose rock etc up to the various small/ medium excavators (with reduced reach) on building sites. (to reduce the tracking, 2 or more swings for dirt pile shifts the excavators do)
