Jeff

I left the trail cam out when I left the cabin a little over a week ago, Today I checked it and see we have had a few visitors this last week or so. :)

There is deer mineral there all year long. It is in the ground. Thjey seem to like it as much as the deer. That spot got seeded with some rye grass last month and I think they are pulling all the young grass and eating it too. No donuts. :)

I would to live in an critter infested place like yours....not sure if the wife would though.  ::)
The older I get I wish my body could Re-Gen.

Mooseherder

I got some footage of a Moose near the atv trail yesterday I'll post when we get back.  It was the second I had seen on the trail but wasn't quick enough with the camera on the first Moose to get it.  We had seen a young Bull Moose on Friday night so 3 total. My wife saw a white tail deer on our place this morning.  She was downwind and watching the Doe eat from close.  It took off with some warning cries after a few moments.  She also saw a snowshoe hare yesterday.  It's been a good week for critters so far.  While sitting by the fire pit tonight I got buzzed with a Diesel moth.  He was large and loud so if there isn't such a critter, there is now.

Jeff, that's some great video/pics, but I gotta say I'm glad my fuzzy friends around here can't eat me  :) (well most anyway).

Jeff,
Great video and stills. It looks like you will be able to bear hunt from the cabin. Is that Pete's deer mineral they like?
