now how's that unit of measure?

the question of whether or not a draft of lumber really exsist...

does it or did it ever...

as a kid my grandfather or father had me laod "drafts" of wood for their customers as the quanity that could easily pulled by a draft team...

the actual BF count made a difference if it was loaded on a skid, tobagan or frieghter and the team used....
this is how I know it...

Who ever invented work didn't know how to fish.... Here fishy fishy....

 This1979 DOD document describes a draft as a pitched stickered bundle of lumber, not a unit of measure.
