GTG today..

The Admiral and I drove up to the mighty metropolis of Matthews VA this afternoon to meet glgdiggs..had a wonderful afternoon visiting and looking his gorgeous place over..(and playing with the sawmill...a nice '97 super with all the trimmings...)

One of the coolest mods I have seen on a mill..it has a winch in the pocket just ahead of the turner, which has
a log dog on the end of the cable...can reach out and pull a log to the mill if need be..must be very nice for those big honkin' hardwood logs...

G is quite the craftsman, and it shows in all the neat little details of the house...it is going to be a very cozy home when he gets 'er done...a house built back when they were built for keeps, remodeled with modern amenities..
