curiosity kill's the cat

 ;D thinking out loud and looked at parts diagrams for the ms 311 and ms391. are the cylinder and pistons interchangeable between them. I get the hot rod bug once in a while and see what can be done to an engine to improve it. when the warrenty runs out on this new 311 I am thinking I will do a mm and some port work on the intake and exhaust ports and carb to see what one can come up with. I know they have been out long enougth that some one has to have gone to work on them. suggestions welcome'
