My 1980 Iron Mule 5000F (made from a Ford tractor) has a conventional looking rear differential housing, but all the parts are identical to a Ford tractor differential, except that the output shaft has a bolt hole drilled in it to hold the u joint yoke. I replaced mine a while back, and used the tractor part, but had a machine shop drill and tap a bolt hole. I think the Masseys were used early on, but then Iron Mule switched over to Ford.
