I did not clean up the mound of sawdust along the mill after sawing last week. We got 4 inch wet snow and then a lot of rain. The temp dropped low twenties and now the sawdust is frozen hard as rock. I have been an avid follower of Hobby Hardwood YouTube video's since I discovered them over two years ago. Robert is always saying cut as fast as you can. Less dust, better wood, more production etc. I have been getting lots of trees from a local company, yes yard trees and yes I know nails are always possible. Magicman, did I read that you bought your sawmill used and have used it over 20 years? Cant find where I read that. Can you fill us in on that sawmill, model, year built, maintenance you have done, upgrades to it, how many bf you have milled (millions of bf), etc. I am curious and I think a lot of people on this forum are too. I know you are a humble man so break out of that mode and actually brag on this machine. It is not bragging if it is true. :wink_2:Read More

We have a very good customer who was looking at some of our live edged slabs today when he stopped by to pick up the final boards for his barndominium project in Florida.

He was curious what it would cost to ship a couple of slabs to his place in Montana and I suggested that someone on the Forestry Forum who mills in Montana may be able to provide the slabs for him.Read More

Any ideas on what to check. I checked and replaced the throttle cable. I am getting the right hi and low rpm readings....
