posting a video

It took me a while  but I have figured out how to post pictures.....  I can't seem to find out how to post a video....  Any help would be aprieciated

Put the video onto YouTube or similar first.
There will be an option to share your video once it is on the YouTube site.

If you have a YouTube account,  you can modify your profile to incude a link that will show up as an icon in your member info to the left. 

The icon will look like this

Like losttheplot said,  once on YouTube, you copy the hyperlink code of the video into the text of your message.   

If you want to see an example what the text string looks like,  just go to any post that has a YouTube video and select "quote".  This will bring that message into the edit menu and you can see the hyperlink text string.

Don't use Youtube's "share" or "embed" option, it will just mess things up on this forum.

Just copy the web page address of the video you want into your post. The forum software will automatically recognise it and embed the video for you.
