Title: Some of the best Walnut so far on my mill UPDATED VIDEO
Post by: 123maxbars on February 02, 2019, 10:28:47 PM
Today I sawed a walnut log that I forgot about even having. When I moved to my new farm late last year I had to move just over 100 logs to the new place, This walnut log was underneath a pile of ERC and at first looked like it had wasted away. I guesstimate the log to have been harvested about 5 years ago. Today I put it on the sawmill and the pictures show the results.  <br

Wow, those look amazing Nathan!  Sometimes its the logs we let sit and almost rot that come out the best.  Nice!!

Very nice Nathan that is beautiful wood
I found the forestry forum by watching your channel.and then buying a band mill and going down the rabbit hole with all the support equipment.
Every time I open up a log on the mill it feels like Christmas Nathan
Thank you
Zeke

Don't need to worry about great lighting when that beauty produces...great videos as usual, and so happy the new setup is working out so well.

Sawin' in the shade, you got it made!  Sure will be nice come summer.

When you see those crotches, I am sure that you see visions of $ signs flashing in your head :).
