Nuttin but wangs! 


 
I gave um a bit of sear.


 
Then piled um up over indirect heat and slid da wood chip tray over da burner.


 
They turned out OK.  Enough for tonight and tomorrow.  food6

MM, What kind of ends are charred in that tray? Looks like  digin_2 
Not sure which came first, but I have chickens and eggs.

Just some cutoff Red Oak firewood ends.  I found the size stick that I wanted and used the chop saw.  The charred one was from last time and the other two were fresh.

Never used red oak or any oak, I assume a little goes a long ways?
Not sure which came first, but I have chickens and eggs.

I deep fried some last night. Southern style in sections with a buttermilk marinade first and Chinese soy sauce style whole. Both turned out good.
