I have two new Caber rings installed on the piston. This is for the old Italian Olympik 272i. A super great saw. I posted issues in another post. Had to dress the bottom ring land a bit, but that's all I plan to do with the piston. A few minor scratches in the one area. Not much wrong with the cylinder. Since parts are hard to come by, I'll just reassemble and see how it goes. Even the jug gasket seems okay. I'll use some High Tack on that to 'make sure'.
The wishing for good luck will start tomorrow when I begin reassembly!
