Sassy our Paint mare was expecting but the colt didnt make it. The vet said the colt just ran out of room. It still had atleast a week left but he was just too big for the momma. Sassy is doing fine. The boys were pretty tore up about it but they are happy sassy is in good health. The little fellar was a spotted buckskin.
Every log i open up, a board falls out!!!

I'm sorry to hear about Sassy's misfortune and the loss of her colt.  Sure glad to hear she's OK though.

I can imagine her colt would have been a huge horse if he could have been born.

Oh, that's AWFUL news...

I don't know much about horse husbandry (well not enough... ) but do they do horse ceasarians? Just wondering. I have a friend who's an Equine Vet, i'll ring him and ask...  (gotta love curiosity).

Will she be OK to have another foal after she heals and has a rest?

asy :D
Never interrupt your opponent while he's making a mistake.
There cannot be a crisis next week. ~My schedule is already full..

Sorry to hear about Sassy losing her foal RS, it takes so long to bear them that when the time comes losing one is tough.
