Hi I have a 270 that a friend had and pulled the mounts loose I bought it, and a new tank because it was wore where the steel pin sticks out of tank underneath saw. I put it back together and seems easy to bottom out mounts when pulling up on back handle. Is there suposed to be anything around that steel pin? thanks ahead

You shouldn't really pull on the rear handle of any saw (why do you do it?) - and particularly not that one, as it does have a soft and weak AV system.

Just pushing on a block of wood on bench to see if everything was working right.
