Easy peasy,  nice work guys,  never a doubt.
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

GAmillworker

I will definitely post more pics after I open it up.

I'm so glad it wasn't hollow inside.

I bet it takes me more than three hours to break it down. :o

I hope it doesn't take three days.

Hopefully  Monday we will be breaking this down thanks to Gasawyer and his Lucas mill.  Pray the weather holds off till Monday afternoon.   I'll be doing some prep work tomorrow getting it ready.

Ga Mill,

I got cold chills just looking at that stump. Glad you got it down okay and found it to be solid. I'd have bet it would be hollow. I worked in southern Norway and they had a big stump similar to that they had cut in a park and left it there for the kids to play on. The kids loved it and played all over it. With our safety regs and sue happy society you would never see such as that in a US Park which is a shame. Good luck with the slabbing. Continue to be careful.

It does have metal in it but we slabbed one 20" first cut one 9" and three 7.5" that I will load and take to my shop to cut down into 3" and 3.5"  Not sure we really cut into any metal today.  I'm sure to find it just need to use a brand new band to find it.

Glad to see it got done. That was to big of a log to see go to waste.

I just saw this thread this morning.  Great job all involved!!!!!!  That slabber is fantastic!  What a way to break a log that gigantic into somewhat moveable pieces.  Thanks for taking me along on this journey.
