Title: Husky 257
Post by: quinnmedic on November 28, 2010, 04:42:43 PM
I was given this saw last Christmas by a very good friend from Big Bay Mich.
It was reconditoned by the Husqvarna dealer up there.
It has a 20 inch bar on it an it rips through anything I throw at it.
Love the saw 8)

Looking to see if anyone has one of these, how they like it and any tips on it.

Mine starts on the 7th pull eveerytime.

Thus far best saw I have ever owned ;D

In case you could not tell I am brand new :D

Thanks

The 257 is the supposedly the more docile little brother to the 262XP. Straight open port cylinder, but the saw makes real good power and the power band is probably a little wider to boot. 262 would of course accelerate quicker, but for general use the 257 is very nice.
