Spent the day opening up skidding trails and cruising for timber.

 ey is that a ski-doo tundra you have there kevin? I have two little yamaha bravos, one has a long track and it would be almost exactly the same as the tundra. Its a great machine for breaking trails and exploring. Do you skid with the sled or do you use your argo?

I use both.
Tracks for the Argo will run about 4k so I'm using the Tundra in deep snow.
When the trail freezes I might bring the Argo in, we'll see how things go.

 If the sled has no reverse how do you use the skid arch? neat setup by the way.

Anyone ever use a skidoo alpine?  The two track, single ski one like this(https://forestryforum.com/images/04_01_03/skidoo_alpine_sm.jpg)

I used one to skid some logs at a fishing camp during march break in highschool.  Hi/Lo range and reverse.  Sort of a cross between a skidoo and a train engine... :)  It turned like a train when you had a couple logs behind it.  We used it mostly on the lakes as its a bit of a pain in the woods even with reverse.  I'm sure you could find one for less than $4000 too!

The sled has reverse.
You can disconnect the arch and spin it around in an instant.

The Alpine is a real workhorse but the Tundra can get into tight places and really floats in the snow.
