Title: Woodyard Safety Video
Post by: Gary_C on December 15, 2012, 04:39:29 AM
Here is a good safety video on woodyards. Most of the video is from the Sappi Plant in Cloquet, MN. It is a very busy place where they handle over 250 trucks per day in the peak times in the winter season.

Sappi even sends their safety personnel out with radar guns to enforce the 15 MPH speed limit. Don't ask how I know that.  ::)

I hauled a lot of wood in to Cloquet in the 70's in to Potlatch, Jack Pine, and peeled pulp.

The Diamond Match Co. was all so there, i hauled a few loads of Aspen saw bolts to them.

The Sappi plant must be the old Potlatch yard
